Account & Subscriptions

Check your account and plan status before troubleshooting your configuration. An outdated copy, inactive configuration, or expired URL in the client can easily be mistaken for a route issue.

Do I need an email address to create an account? What if I forget my password?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details secure, and never post them alongside your subscription link in a public place. If you forget your password, first check your password manager and any devices where you’re still signed in. If the user panel offers an account recovery option, follow its instructions. Don’t assume you can recover your account by email. If you can’t sign in, contact support and provide verifiable order details as requested by the panel. Never send your password or full subscription link.

Where can I get my subscription? Can I connect as soon as I download a client?

Sign in to the user panel to get your subscription. Installing a client does not import your routes. First, check your plan status in the panel, then go to the downloads section and choose the client for Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Eligibility to download the official client depends on your panel status. Return to the subscription section and use the client’s import method to add the configuration. Confirm that routes by region appear in the configuration list. Marketing pages don’t provide direct installer downloads or live subscription URLs. If importing fails, save the error message and see the connection troubleshooting section.

How do I update my subscription link? When should I import it again?

In most cases, update your existing subscription instead of importing it again. Open the subscription or configuration page in your client, find the VPNQA entry, and choose Update or Refresh. Then check whether the route list has changed. If the update fails, first make sure your local network can reach the panel, then check your plan status and confirm the import URL is complete. If the panel shows that your subscription URL has changed, copy the current URL, replace the old one in your configuration, and update again. Avoid adding multiple configurations with the same name: it’s easy to select an outdated one, and harder to tell which subscription is active.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I change devices? Can I connect on multiple devices at once?

You don’t need to choose a new plan just because you’ve changed devices. VPNQA has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time. On a new device, sign in to the same account to get your subscription, import it into the client for that platform, and grant any network permissions the system requires. With a monthly plan, all devices draw from the same account’s traffic allowance. Unlimited devices does not mean each device gets a separate allowance. When you’re done with an old device, remove its configuration and sign out of the panel. Your subscription link is sensitive account information—don’t share it or post it in public forums.

My subscription updated, but the routes I expected aren’t showing. What should I do?

First, make sure the configuration you just updated is active, not an older copy in the list. Some clients separate saving a subscription from enabling its configuration, so you may need to select it after updating. Then check whether region filters, favorites, or route groups are hiding entries, and compare the list with the routes currently shown in the panel. VPNQA covers 120+ countries / 250+ routes, but the routes available to you depend on your current subscription. If the client reports a parsing error, note the client name, operating system, and error text, then report it through a support ticket. Don’t include your full subscription details.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Check subscription retrieval, route connectivity, and app requests separately. The connection icon confirms only one part of the process; the target app’s actual requests are what matter.

The client says it’s connected, but the website won’t load. What should I do?

A connected status only means the client has established a connection; it doesn’t confirm that requests to the website are using your selected route. First, open a regular website to check your local connection. Then confirm the active configuration, route, and proxy mode. Visit the target site in your browser and check the client’s connection log for its domain, the matched rule, and the exit route. If regular sites work but the target site doesn’t, try another route that meets the target region’s requirements and save the error message. Change one setting at a time so you can identify the cause instead of changing routes, split tunneling, and DNS all at once.

Why does my browser work through the proxy, but a particular app doesn’t?

Often, the app doesn’t follow the system proxy settings, or a split-tunneling rule sends its requests directly. Check the client’s connection log after opening the app. If you see its requests, review the matched rules and route group. If you don’t, check the app’s own proxy settings and whether the client offers a network interception option for that platform. Permissions and setting names vary by platform, so follow the instructions in the panel. Restart the app after making changes and test again. Don’t rely on the client’s connected icon alone, and don’t run multiple tools that intercept network traffic at the same time.

What should I check if subscription import fails?

First, distinguish between a failure to fetch the subscription and a configuration parsing error; they require different fixes. If fetching fails, make sure the device is online, the panel opens, your plan is active, and the copied URL has no extra spaces or missing characters. For a parsing error, check that your client supports the import method and follow the panel’s instructions. Don’t edit the configuration format yourself. Save the original error message before trying again, so you don’t lose useful clues by repeatedly deleting the configuration. You can attach a screenshot when reporting the issue, but hide your subscription URL, account details, and anything else unrelated to the problem.

What should I do if the system requests network access, or my local connection fails after connecting?

Follow the system prompt to check the client’s network permissions, then make sure another tool isn’t already intercepting network traffic. If authorization is required, confirm that the prompt comes from the client you’re using. If permission was denied, review it again in system settings using the guide. If local websites stop working after you connect, disconnect the client temporarily and see whether your local connection recovers. Close any other proxy or network interception tools at the same time. Once your connection is restored, enable the current configuration again and test it. Don’t disable system security features to troubleshoot a connection. If the issue persists, note your operating system, connection mode, and the steps you took to restore your network.

What information should I include in a support ticket?

Details that help reproduce the issue are more useful than simply saying it doesn’t work. Include your operating system, client name, selected region and route type, target website or app, approximate time of the issue, and any error message. Also say whether regular websites work, whether switching routes makes a difference, and whether your local connection recovers when you disconnect the client. Keep screenshots focused on what’s relevant, and hide account details, subscription URLs, and private content. Submit your report through the user panel’s support ticket section. Keep any follow-up details in the same ticket so the troubleshooting steps stay together.

Speed & Routes

Test against the target service instead of judging by route names. Keep the device, network, and task the same when comparing routes so you can tell whether switching made a difference.

Video stutters or pages slow down at peak times. What should I try first?

First, work out whether the slowdown is on your local network, the selected route, or the target service. Don’t assume every issue is caused by route congestion. Pause large downloads on other devices and check whether regular websites are slow too. If local browsing is fine, compare other routes in the same region. For video, check how quickly the page opens, playback starts, and continues; adjust the quality if needed. Note when the issue occurred, the region, and the route type, then report it through a support ticket. Peak-hour performance depends on your local network and the target platform, so no route type guarantees a particular speed.

How do I choose between an IEPL dedicated route, a relayed route, and a direct route?

Start with the region required by your target service, then compare the route types available there. IEPL dedicated routes, relayed routes, and direct routes describe different network paths; they aren’t a fixed speed ranking for every user. Use a direct route as a baseline, try a relayed route to see how a different path performs, and test an IEPL dedicated route against your actual needs. For a fair comparison, use the same device, local network, and target service. Check connection success, page response, and stability over time. Don’t choose based on the route name alone, or favor a seemingly shorter path over the target platform’s regional requirements.

Is a closer route always better? Which region should I use for AI tools?

A nearby region isn’t necessarily the best choice for a target service. First, check the service’s supported regions and account requirements. Access to AI tools may also depend on account status, service policies, and the network exit location. Switching routes doesn’t replace meeting the platform’s requirements. Choose a region that meets those requirements, check that the site loads, then test sign-in and the features you need. If the website works but the desktop app doesn’t, troubleshoot app routing instead of repeatedly changing regions. Keep a configuration that you’ve verified works for everyday use. If something changes, note the error and adjust the route based on what you find.

The streaming site loads, but why does it still say my region isn’t supported?

A site loading doesn’t mean you’re authorized to play its content. Streaming platforms may check your exit region, account region, subscription benefits, and content licensing. Different titles can have different regional restrictions. First, confirm the content is available with your account, then check whether playback requests use a route in the selected region. Other resources on the page may load through a different exit, so they don’t confirm where playback traffic goes. After switching routes, reopen the content using the platform’s normal process. VPNQA offers international routes, but regional coverage doesn’t guarantee that every platform or title will be available.

My speed test looks fine, but file downloads are still slow. What can I do?

A speed test doesn’t necessarily reflect download speeds from a particular source. Downloads are also affected by the source server, account permissions, app routing, and your local network. First, confirm the download request is using the expected route, then compare the same file over other suitable routes. Don’t compare files from different sources. If only one source is slow, check whether its server limits downloads or requires you to sign in. If every source is slow, check your local network and background tasks. Speed tests use traffic too, so judge performance against your actual needs rather than running tests repeatedly. When reporting an issue, include the type of file source and your comparison results.

For more on regions and route types, see the routes page. If the client setup is complete but the issue persists, use the complete guide to check your configuration and troubleshooting steps.

Billing & Refunds

Check pricing, data, and plan status separately. For payment or refund questions, keep your order details and use a support ticket in the panel. Don’t post payment records in public forums.

How much do monthly plans and data packages cost, and which should I choose?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Monthly plans suit users who want a monthly data allowance. Data packages last until used and never expire. Choose based on your actual browsing, video, download, and multi-device needs, then compare the billing options—not just the price. Data packages don’t automatically refill each month, and monthly plans aren’t permanent. Check the plans page and user panel for full pricing and the options currently available to your account.

When does monthly plan data reset? How is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated?

Monthly plan data resets every month on the day you activated the plan. For an upgrade partway through the cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. The reset date isn’t the start of a standard calendar month; check your plan details in the account panel for the exact timing. Before upgrading, review your current tier, plan status, and remaining data, then confirm the amount and upgrade result on the panel’s confirmation page. Don’t estimate the order amount using a full-month price difference or assume an upgrade restarts every date in the cycle. If the order details don’t match your expectations, save the relevant page information and check with support through a ticket before proceeding.

Which payment methods are supported? What if my plan doesn’t update after payment?

VPNQA accepts Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. If your plan status doesn’t change after payment, check the order status in your order list and compare it with the results shown on the payment page and in your payment app. Don’t pay again right away. If the issue persists, open a support ticket with your order details, chosen payment method, and any necessary proof of payment. Hide personal information that isn’t needed to verify the order. A successful payment screenshot alone doesn’t confirm that your plan is active; check your plan status in the account before using the service. Follow the amount and instructions shown for your current order. If anything doesn’t match, stop and verify the details first.

How do I request a refund, and what information should I provide?

VPNQA offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. Before applying, read the refund policy and check your order details. Sign in to the user panel, open a support ticket, and clearly state that you’re requesting a refund. Include the relevant order details and payment method. You can briefly explain why, but don’t send your password or full subscription link. If you already opened a ticket for the same order, add your information to that ticket to make it easier to review. The refund policy sets out the full eligibility and process. No fixed processing time is listed, so don’t assume one. If you can’t sign in, follow the account recovery instructions first, then contact support to explain the issue.

Can switching routes help if I’m out of data or my plan status is abnormal?

Switching routes won’t fix an account data or plan status issue. First, check your remaining data, plan status, and order status in the panel. Monthly plan data resets on the activation date each month; data packages last until used and never expire. Keep these billing options distinct. If you need to continue using the service, review the plans currently available in the panel. Don’t assume an existing plan will renew or add data automatically. If the panel shows your plan is active but the client still reports an account error, update your subscription, save the error message, and contact support through a ticket. Don’t keep switching configurations to mask an account issue you haven’t confirmed.

Check your order in the account overview. Read the refund policy for eligibility details and the terms of service for other service conditions.
